Origins

In 2023, both my father and Zayd’s father experienced life threatening health issued due to heart disease, which opened our eyes to the silent but serious dangers of this condition. These events inspired us to take action – not only to raise awareness about heart disease and its risks but also to fund vital research aimed at prevention and treatment. A particularly urgent aspect of our mission is rooted in the early onset of these issues; both of our fathers were affected in their late 40s, an age that many might not associate with severe heart disease.

As members of the South Asian community, we recognize the heightened genetic risk our community faces – an often overlooked and under-acknowledged reality. Through our nonprofit, we also aim to educate and empower South Asians to take proactive steps for their heart health, bridging gaps in awareness and advocating for equitable access to life-saving resources.
